It's Cancer Season!
The Sun enters Cancer 21st June at 09:24 BST/16:24 HKT, marking the Summer Solstice - the start of the summer season.
What's the focus this month?
The Sun is peregrine in Cancer, with no other dignities. The Sun represents our core personality - our solar energy, our ray of light, our confidence. Ultimately, being self-sufficient is the goal, and that is not just financially, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Cancer represents home life, family, nurturance, and a sense of belonging. Do you feel pressured to build your own home, or to be a mother? Perhaps you have build yourself a home but is struggling to maintain it or to live under it in peace. Or you feel emotionally malnourished? These could all have origins in our childhood. Previous transits of Venus and Mercury in Cancer from 19th May and 1st June respectively got us thinking about these Cancerian issues. Now that the Sun is finally in Cancer, it further highlights these topics. Whatever it is for you, give yourself the time and space to retreat if life is getting to you.
